UTMB Health and Aetna have reached a multi-year agreement that brings UTMB facilities and providers in network for most Aetna health plan participants, effective immediately. We're eager to welcome and serve Aetna members, who now have more choices for in-network hospitals and providers in Galveston County, Southern Brazoria County and Southern Harris County.

As of July 10, UTMB continues to make significant progress on resuming normal activity: 80% of clinics and most urgent care sites are now open. All hospitals and ERs remain open. All UTMB classes resumed today. UTMB's telephone system has been fully restored. However, many AT&T customers are still experiencing difficulties with calling; AT&T is aware and working to resolve the issue.
