🎄❤️ The Season of Giving Is Here! ❤️🎄

Each year, our community helps bring a little extra joy to the residents of White’s Cottage Center, and it’s time once again to make spirits bright! ✨

We’re kicking off our 6th Annual Adopt-A-Resident Program, inviting individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to join us in spreading holiday love to those who call White’s Cottage Center home.

Many of our residents don’t have loved ones nearby, and your kindness can make their Christmas truly special. When you “adopt” a resident, you’ll receive a short list of their favorite things, needs, and sizes — helping you give a gift that feels personal and full of heart. 💝

This week during Commissioners Court, we honored the incredible life of Lois Marie Sasser-White, who was born on April 21, 1944. Lois dedicated her life to selflessness and service. Together with her husband Robert in 1985, they founded the White’s Cottage Center, a 16-bed assisted living facility. In 2000, they established the White’s Multicultural Center in Angleton, running a summer food program that nourished local children for 15 years. We mourn her passing on December 23, 2023, at the age of 79, but remain deeply grateful for her enduring legacy of helping others.

The residents and staff at White’s Cottage Center cannot thank Angleton Central Assembly of God Church enough for Adopting our residents! Not only did they adopt them, they also came to sing Christmas Carols and brought them homemade cookies and punch!
