In November, we had the honor of presenting the very first Amber R. Stuckey Nursing Award for Compassion - a recognition created to celebrate the heart, empathy, and kindness Amber brought to every patient and colleague she touched. It was an emotional and deeply meaningful evening, made even more special by the presence of Amber’s family. We were proud to share that Mindy Bontrager was chosen as the inaugural recipient. Her picture and name were added to the plaque. The award plaque is now proudly displayed in the Pediatrics office. Be sure to check it out when you stop by. What a meaningful honor and a beautiful tribute to Amber’s legacy.

This well-earned recognition reflects Donna’s outstanding leadership, dedication to mission, and the meaningful, lasting impact she continues to make through Easterseals and across our region.

Donna serves as the Board Vice Chair at Cameron Health, and her vision, collaborative leadership, and steadfast commitment to advancing health, wellness, and opportunity strongly reflect the values we uphold. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Urology 101 Insight Education Series event! It was a great evening of learning, thoughtful discussion, and meaningful community connection. We appreciate the strong turnout and the thoughtful questions that made this session so engaging. A special thank you to our urology providers, Dr. Scott Shie and Brandi Alwine, PA, for sharing their expertise, answering questions, and helping break down important urologic topics in an approachable and informative way. We are grateful for their time and commitment to patient education and community health. We also thank the Cameron team and community members who make these events happen!
