After suffering a traumatic brain injury, Megan Schmelzer realized returning to teach in a classroom setting may not be realistic. Through conversations during her time at On With Life's outpatient center, she discovered her true passion for education could be put to a different use. Megan opened Little White Schoolhouse in 2021 and continues tutoring and educating to this day.

Our outpatient center is home to a 360-degree Vector Gait System that assists in regaining balance and mobility. This technology allows our persons served to practice a variety of activities (including walking, running, dancing and so much more) while eliminating fall risk. Exercise your mind with our Cognitive Fitness Class! This class will introduce a variety of cognitive strategies to improve daily function including memory, attention, word-finding and sequencing.

One week into 2026 and we've already had multiple graduates from our inpatient program. Ali and Bobby's bright personalities will be missed around the halls but we are so proud of the progress they have made and will continue to make as they get on with life!
