🌿 Sicily Huemann, t-LMHC 🌿

We’re excited to share that Sicily Huemann is accepting new clients at our clinic — with immediate availability!

Sicily works with children (ages 6+) and adults, offering a compassionate, structured, and collaborative approach to therapy. She blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Social Emotional Learning, and play and art therapy techniques to help clients build resilience, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.

Sicily also provides on-site support at Parkview Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making it easier for Ankeny students to access the care they need.

Today we honor the brave individuals who have served our country with courage and dedication. At Ankeny Family Counseling, we are deeply grateful for the sacrifices made by veterans and their families, and we are committed to supporting their continued well-being here at home.

We are proud to have Kat Kaelin, t-LMHC, as part of our team. Kat has extensive experience working with veterans and their loved ones, providing compassionate care for challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions during and after military service.

Our office partners with the VA Community Care Network, making it easier for veterans to access high-quality mental health care close to home.

Ankeny Family Counseling is proud to partner with the Ankeny Service Center to host a Food Drive — happening now through November 19!
We are collecting non-perishable foods and essential household items to support local families in need. You will find baskets near the front desk at our main location where you can drop off donations. We are collecting a wide variety of non-perishable food items and essential household products — everything from canned goods and pasta to shampoo, diapers, and detergent.

Ankeny Family Counseling was started August 2015. We are a locally owned and operated by Vicki Ailey-Roberson LMHC, CRC. We provide hope, help and healing for individuals, couples, and families, Ankeny Family Counseling is a place of hope, help, and healing that provides individualized support and strategies to help you better manage and cope with the challenges of daily living. That's because Ankeny Family Counseling has more than 30 years of experience and is certified in EMDR, trained in couples therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and other therapy approaches.
