For students trying to make the best financial decision about college there a new resource that should make the process easier.

The Washington Post just launched a new database compiling nearly 1,000 free-tuition programs nationwide, supported by institutional commitments and state policy efforts. The resource spans 2-year colleges, 4-year institutions, and vocational pathways.

It can help college advisors, students, and families better understand options that reduce financial barriers to postsecondary education.

📣Important: Don’t Miss Out on Money for Your Child’s Future📣

All families with 1st–8th grade Washtenaw public/charter students need to turn in their My Future Fund permission form by December 31, 2025.

Here’s why this matters:
· Early Scholarship Account: A completed form ensures eligible children in grades 1–8 can get a My Future Fund account.
· Extra $475 Bonus: If the form isn’t in by December 31, your child could lose this bonus money.

❗Bottom line: Turning in the form now means your child gets money for college or training after high school. Waiting could mean missing out.
