Creating Brighter Futures Creating Brighter Futures provides ABA therapy services for children ages 2-18 years old in a center-based clinic setting located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

At Creating Brighter Futures, we provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children who are exhibiting developmental delays, or have already been diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders. Our goal is to provide the skills, teaching environments, and learning opportunities necessary to improve the quality of life for each of our clients in a center-based setting. Each child will receive the best individualized, evidence-based treatments available. All treatment will be supervised and supported by an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This month, we would like to recognize Niki Mehta, one of our amazing Behavior Technicians! 💕👀

Niki started a little over a year ago, and she's already proven to be an essential member of our team! Her coworkers have noted that her passion and optimism is consistent across all her clients and she is constantly a dependable asset! 🥰✌️🌟

She is always a ray of sunshine and ready to jump into action and help whenever we need her! Niki is definitely one for the books! ☀️🫧

This just in! 📣📣Michigan State University is currently recruiting applicants for their Project FOCCUS grant for the Fall 2026 semester! If you are an MSU student and will be pursuing a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis or EdS in School Psychology next fall, this opportunity is for you! 🏫🎒

Project FOCCUS3 seeks to increase the number of historically underrepresented EdS and ABA professionals who support students with high-intensity needs in Michigan schools. In short, the project aims to:

1) increase the placement of highly qualified school psychologist and behavior analysts from historically underrepresented groups in schools to provide evidence-based services to students in K-4th grades with high needs 👩‍👧‍👦📖

2) improve scholars’ knowledge and practitioner skills with a specialized focus on culturally competent practice and compassionate care 💕

3) train learners on practices within the framework of Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). 🤓👀

Project FOCCUS3 will cover students’ tuition, travel expenses, and hardship cost. The deadline to apply is January 15th. If you know of anyone interested in applying please contact Charis Wahman at wahmanch@msu.edu, or Dr. Kristin Rispoli at rispolik@msu.edu.

Although Halloween was less than a week ago, we are gearing up and preparing for our annual Client Holiday Party on December 5th! 🎄⛄️❄️

Join us 4pm-6pm for fun for the whole family! Chamberlin Pony Rides will be hosting a petting zoo and pony rides again this year from 4pm-5pm on our front lawn! Crafts, snacks, and refreshments will be available for the whole family, as well as our yearly Client Slideshow presentation set up for everyone to view! 🧁🥤✂️📽

We had a blast last Friday celebrating Halloween! The staff joined in on the fun & dressed up as different Barbie (and Ken!) professions for the group costume this year! We even had a few furry friends stop by to join in on the fun! 🐶🐾
