Hey community friends!

We’ve had many kind people ask how they can support our center, and I’ve been told that making a specific request can make it easier to help, so here’s a great place to start!

We serve lunch for our members 3–5 days a week (some all 5 days!), and thanks to Lowe’s, we now have a refrigerator to help store everything. It’s always a gift to keep it fully stocked with the food we need.

Here’s how you can help:
Gift cards are always preferred as they allow us to shop as needed and keep things fresh.

Some great options include:
• Restaurant Depot
• Costco
• Sam’s Club
• Busch’s
• Kroger
• Trader Joe’s
• Whole Foods
• Meijer
• Little Caesars (they’re just a few doors down, we have pizza every Monday and Friday!)
• Any local grocery store

Restaurant donations are also always appreciated!! 🙂

For close friends and family who’d like to donate specific food items, here’s a list of staples that help us most:

Proteins & Meats
• Hamburger meat
• Chicken (fresh or frozen Tyson)
• Chicken patties
• Burgers
• Beef hot dogs & buns
• Deli meat (turkey, ham, salami) & bread.

Cheeses & Dairy
• Shredded cheese

Fruits and veggies: we always include fruits and veggies! Strawberries, banana’s , watermelon, melons, oranges, apples, brocolli, peas and carrots , etc.
