I believe deeply in the process of re-inhabiting the body and in the wisdom of the body. I combine Hakomi mindfulness based, somatic techniques with trauma-informed approaches, attachment work, and existential theory. I honor diversity, including spiritual diversity and am happy to include ritual and personal myth-making in our work together if that is an area that interests you. I also have a background in therapeutic movement, and offer movement-based exploration for those interested in connecting with their bodies in an active way. I am passionate about creating a safe space and relationship for you to explore how past wounding is affecting your present life, while helping support you in integrating this information in a way that can create lasting change. Experiential therapy offers the opportunity for new neural circuitry to form in the brain which can both help heal wounds and create the possibility for true transformation. I offer free 30-minute in-person consultations to help you gauge whether working together feels right to you. I so look forward to connecting and exploring how I might accompany you in your healing journey.

Beyond honored to host this sweet retreat with a trusted colleague Malina Adler May 24-27. Silence and Soma: A Women's Retreat. We'll be crossing over the veil together into contemplative silence, all while exploring safety and togetherness, somatic healing expressions through breathwork, yoga, sauna, movement, and sound. We'll be gathering at the boutique Schvitz North that has a brand new gorgeous sauna with a deck full of sunning beach chairs. We'll have private beach access to Lake Huron and nights on the beach of drumming, dance, and song. This is a retreat, it's also a calling. Feeling called too? Rebranding is in process! I'm so excited to share new offerings through Luminous Heart Wellness (formerly Inhabit Bodymind Therapy). Listening to my heart's calling to expand my practice beyond psychotherapy sessions has led me to breathwork, to new guided experiential sessions (a decadent 2 hour heart spa anyone?) and to launching new moon women's circles (look for the September event being posted soon!) Life is full and wild and rich with new beginnings at the moment. Here's my new website. It's still in process, so if you're wanting a guided experiential and don't see it listed yet, keep checking back over the next couple weeks as I add more details of what experiences you can bring your intentions to.
