🎵 On the topic of music… let’s hear it for Amber! 👏

A talented music therapist on our team, we are just so excited to announce and celebrate her transition to our Ann Arbor office this year.

She specializes in working with trauma survivors and first responders as a former 911 dispatcher herself, and brings a creative and deeply empathetic lens to her approach with clients.

We’re challenging you to go against your instincts…

Let’s be real. Responding with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment isn’t something that comes naturally to most of us, especially when we’re already upset or deregulated as a result of another person’s words and actions.

However, you can train yourself to be kinder - to yourself AND others. We believe in you, and we’re in this journey together!

💫 If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stop saying “yes” to things.

Yeah, the holidays can bring joy just as much as they bring their own set of challenges. Family expectations and disagreements, struggles with work-life balance, and/or loss of a loved one can cause the season to feel less merry than what we’re told it “should” be.

However, there is no single “right” way to live out this time of year, and we encourage you to make time for things like your own self care. Set healthy boundaries. Allow yourself to breathe. And remember, we’re here for you when you are seeking support. 🤝

🍽️ What’s your plate looking like this holiday season?

Office parties, gatherings with friends and family, last minute work projects, final exams, gift and greeting card coordination, year end performance reviews, and plans for what to do when the kids are out of school are all things that can keep our minds racing this time of year.

It’s a lot to juggle!

Underneath all of that, you have to remember you are human, and while generosity towards others is a beautiful thing, it is not selfish to crave rest and nourishment for yourself.

That could look like…
📴 getting offline
💧 staying hydrated
🎶 listening to music that boosts your mood
😂 laughing with friends
🗞️ making sure the media you consume brings value
… but honestly, it can also look really different for each individual person.

About us.

Welcome!

Are you ready to experience mental health care differently?

We are an integrative mental health care practice in Plymouth, Michigan and operating online.

The root of integrative is integral, meaning “to render (something) whole, bring together the parts of”. And that’s exactly what we do at Reset. We look at your mental health as a whole, considering stressors, trauma, fitness, diet, sleep patterns, work/school, physical ailments, relationships and transitions in your life. By looking at the sum of the parts, you can be certain that your mental well-being becomes part of a lifestyle shift (or reset!), not just a quick fix or an isolated perspective.
