My Motivation LLC We are a team of trained counselors focused on helping clients navigate the stresses of everyday life including depression, anxiety, substance abuse and more.

Do you need help coping with life’s changes, techniques for uplifting your spirits or even battling with addiction? If so let us help. Our main focus of expertise is centered around helping our clients battle addiction, over come depression and learning how to cope with whatever challenges life brings your way. Sara is a certified addictions counselor who has worked for years with the homeless and mentally ill. Much of their bad luck was related to substance abuse and addiction. By listening to their challenges she has been able to help lead many people away from the downfalls of addiction. She also understands the effects life’s challenges can have on an individuals mental capacity to focus on the positive. Sometimes these changes can lead people to felling depressed, alone, scared and unappreciated. Many times it can take an understanding person who is there to listen while you vent and, if asked, provide guidance and support. Depression doesn’t always arise from life changing events. In many cases it slowly builds up over time, eating away at the person you once were. Sara has observed this several times over and would like to help break down those walls that have been holding back the person who is happy and motivated to experience the positive events life can present to us. She has spent much of her career focused on getting everyone a second chance they deserve. She has several methods available to her and knows a great deal of support throughout the community to help her clients get the resources they need. Whether it is through motivational interview sessions, motivational activities or life coaching Sara is here to help. 🌿 Breathe. You’ve got this.

When stress and anxiety start to take over, your breath can bring you back to balance. At My Motivation LLC Counseling, we encourage small, simple steps that help calm the mind and body — and deep breathing is one of the most effective tools.

✨ Try the 4-7-8 Breathing Technique:
1️⃣ Inhale gently through your nose for 4 seconds
2️⃣ Hold your breath for 7 seconds
3️⃣ Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 seconds
4️⃣ Repeat 4 times

This technique helps slow your heart rate, reduce tension, and create space for clarity and calm. You can do it anytime — before a meeting, during a stressful moment, or as part of your nightly routine.

💚 Remember: caring for your mental health starts with small moments of mindfulness.
