⭐️ Hydration - breastmilk is mainly made up of water. So every time you sit down to breastfeed or pump, grab something to drink to help your milk supply.
⭐️ Hand massage - gentle massage before and during your breastfeeding or pumping session can release more milk and fattier milk.
⭐️ Pump frequently - shorter, more frequent pumping sessions can signal your body to produce more milk.
⭐️ Pump at night - naturally, your body produces more prolactin (milk making hormone) in the middle of the night, which can boost your supply. This is so important during 0-12 weeks postpartum.
⭐️ Decrease stress - cortisol hormone is our stress hormone, when it’s high our oxytocin (love hormone) is low. We need oxytocin to let the milk out! Find your joy when breastfeeding or pumping.
