This week our residents had a blast creating turkey abstract paintings just in time for Thanksgiving.

The colorful arrays of art were full of creativity joy and personality with each piece truly unique. ❤️

We’ve been busy this month at Renaissance! 🍁

Our residents recently created the most beautiful leaf tissue-paper paintings! They first drew their own leaf designs with white crayon, then layered colorful tissue paper on top. With a light mist of water, the colors blended together and revealed their leaf drawings underneath — truly magical!

This activity is perfect for memory care: it encourages creativity, supports fine-motor skills, brings out joyful sensory moments, and gives our residents a chance to express themselves in a calming, success-oriented way.
