Workers’ Rights are under attack in Florida!

On February 25, 2026, Florida's First District Court of Appeals ruled that physicians are not considered "pharmacists", and therefore have no protections within the "absolute choice of pharmacy" found under Florida Statutes § 440.13(3)(d) for injured workers, effectively ending the decades long practice of physician dispensing for workers compensation in Florida.
