Happy Veterans Day 🇺🇸
Today, I pause, not just to honor the uniform I once wore, but to honor the woman I became because of it.
When I joined the Air Force, I thought service was about strength, sacrifice, and duty. And while it is, what I’ve learned over the years is that true service also asks for something deeper, heart, humility, and healing.
I’ve carried both medals and memories, victories and invisible wounds. I’ve known what it means to lead others through chaos while silently fighting my own battles. I’ve walked through the kind of pain that tests your faith, and found, on the other side, a peace that no rank or recognition can offer.
My journey didn’t end when I hung up my uniform, it evolved.
It became a mission to help others heal.
To build bridges between strength and softness, trauma and transformation.
To remind every veteran, every woman, every soul carrying unseen scars that your story still has purpose.
Through The Malaysia Harrell Foundation, I’ve dedicated my life to helping veterans and underrepresented communities rediscover wholeness because healing, too, is a form of service.
So today, I stand in gratitude.
For those who served.
For those still serving.
And for those silently rebuilding after the battle ends.
May we never forget that the greatest victory isn’t in the fight, it’s in finding our way back to ourselves.
