Piece #1: What is surrogacy for a surrogate?

Surrogacy is your opportunity to carry a pregnancy for someone who cannot conceive or carry a child on their own. As a gestational carrier, you do not use your own eggs. Instead, an embryo created through in vitro fertilization (IVF) from the intended parents is implanted in your uterus.

What is IVF?
IVF is a medical procedure that helps with fertility. Eggs are fertilized with s***m outside the body in a lab, and the resulting embryo is then implanted in the surrogate’s uterus.
