Waypoint is on a roll welcoming amazing new practitioners and we are thrilled to announce that DR. KATIE SMITH has joined our family of providers! Dr. Smith, a licensed clinical psychologist, specializes in working with clients (aged 13+) with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ issues including sexuality and gender diversity, as well as working with women who experience reproductive challenges and postpartum anxiety and depression. She sees patients in-person in each of our offices and also offers TeleHealth appointments. She will be credentialed with Carefirst, Medicare, Tricare, USFH, and JH EHP. Where to begin with our newest Waypoint family member?? DR. LOUISA FLYNN brings a breadth of specialized training and unique professional experience across various care facilities and we thrilled to welcome her to the family!

Dr. Flynn specializes in working with children, adolescents, parents, and individuals in the perinatal period. Her areas of focus include mood and anxiety disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), social and behavioral challenges, parenting difficulties, co-occurring medical conditions, and perinatal grief and loss. She is certified in EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

Dr. Flynn has office hours in our Annapolis and Severna Park locations and will also see patients via telehealth. She will be credentialed with Carefirst, Tricare, USFH, and JH EHP.
