If you lost a loved one due to COVID-19 and paid for that loved one’s funeral, interment or cremation after January 20, 2020, FEMA has stepped up to provide reimbursement for those expenses. Learn more and see if you qualify for up to $9,000 in benefits:

If you qualify, the federal government is reimbursing up to $9,000 for funeral expenses related to a coronavirus death. Applications for the FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Assistance Program will be accepted starting April 12, 2021. Learn more about the program and how to apply.

Each year, Assistance League of the Chesapeake collects "NEW" hats and gloves for their "Kids In Need" program to benefit needy elementary school children throughout Anne Arundel County. Taylor Funeral Home will match each donation received now through January 9th. Items can be dropped off at the funeral home daily from 9-4PM. Every little hat or pair of gloves helps!
