If you’re like me, the thought of families in our community going hungry — especially during these challenging times — is heartbreaking. But there’s something powerful we can do together.

Right now, more than 66,000 Anne Arundel County residents face food insecurity — meaning they don’t have consistent access to enough healthy, nutritious food. The Anne Arundel County Food Bank (AACOFB) provides essential meals and support to local families every day, and they need our help to keep going strong.

Now through November 30, Blue Lotus will match every donation, up to $5,000. That means your gift will go twice as far to help provide nutritious food and hope to those who need it most.

Meghan teaches Mat Pilates bi-weekly on Mondays at 6:00pm. She also pops up on the schedule to lead barre classes from time-to-time. In the new year, you can catch Megan’s Small Group Fitness series, which includes 3 classes/week for 3 weeks!

ABOUT MEGHAN

Blue Lotus Pilates and Barre Instructor Meghan T. has over 20 years experience working as a certified personal trainer, accountability coach, and group fitness instructor. She is a nationally known fitness model who has graced the pages of Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Shape, Muscle and Fitness Hers and Oxygen magazine.

When it comes to health and fitness, Meghan believes that anyone can achieve their goals if they set their mind to it. She loves to empower people with the knowledge that they are in control of their own health and happiness. Her motto is “your body is the product of your thoughts.”

Meghan is certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), International Sports Science Association (ISSA), Power Pilates, Zumba, Cycle Reebok Foundation training, Cardio Kickboxing and TRX Suspension Training. She lives in Severna Park and has two boys, Dylan and Maddox.

Moms and their babes are invited to join us the 3rd Sunday of every month from 12:15-1:00pm for movement and connection.

All Silver, Gold and Platinum members of Blue Lotus Yoga Studio are invited to our first “Self Care Sunday.”

Join us for an evening of pampering!
BLYS members are invited to relax with a seated massage, sample fresh juice by “Love at First Sip,” and find balance and peace with a 30-minute Sound Healing & Restorative Yoga class led by Blue Lotus Instructor Erin.

Come for all or part of the time. Classes will take place in 2 sessions — at 1:15pm and 2:00pm — to allow the alternate group time to enjoy conversation, refreshments, and a seated massage.

You may already know Alicia as the Co-Lead Trainer of Blue Lotus’s 200-hour YTT, and the Lead Trainer of the 50-hr Yin Yoga Training & Immersion. We’re thrilled to announce that Alicia now teaches 75-minute Vin/Yin Yoga Thursdays at 9:30am!

ABOUT ALICIA

Alicia has been teaching yoga in the Annapolis area for over 20 years. She is an E-RYT 500 with additional certifications in Thai Yoga Massage, yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga for cancer patients and care givers, yoga therapy, yoga for resiliency and yoga for trauma recovery as well as the Hot 26 & 2 (Bikram) series.

Our Story

Blue Lotus Yoga Studio was founded in 2018 by Julie Nogueira and Duffy Perkins. Their mission---to create a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered. BLYS takes a holistic approach to health and wellness with classes designed to tone, strengthen, balance, and restore.

At Blue Lotus Yoga Studio, you’ll find both heated and non-heated yoga, as well as barre, sculpt, and cardio kick classes. Our two-studio space enables us to offer traditional vinyasa, gentle, and yin in one room, and fitness classes in another, air conditioned space.

Our goal is simple: we aim to provide Annapolis area residents with a premier yoga and fitness experience in a welcoming, supportive environment. Our space is clean and inviting and our teachers are the best in the region.
