Here, Mel Blankensop, PTA, of Aquacare Salisbury shows some aquatic techniques to move lymph fluid and improve range of motion.

Today we honor the Indigenous peoples who first called this land home. We reflect on their strength, acknowledge the struggles they endured, and honor their place in the shared story of America.

The indigenous peoples of the Delmarva Peninsula include the Lenape (also called the Delaware), Nanticoke, and other tribes such as the Wicomico, Pocomoke, Manokin, and Choptank. For thousands of years, these groups inhabited the area, developing communities and rich cultures, but their populations and ways of life were drastically impacted by European colonization, disease, and displacement. Today, descendants of these tribes continue to preserve their heritage.
