Initial Site Work Nearing Completion; Underground Utilities Underway
Over the past several weeks, crews have completed land clearing and are well into grading and other site preparation work. Heavy equipment, including bulldozers and soil compactors, have been operating across the full footprint to bring the ground to engineered specifications.
Crews have also begun installing sanitary sewer lines. This involves digging trenches, setting precast concrete manholes and connecting PVC pipe underground. All underground utility work must be completed and inspected before building foundations can be placed above it.
Later this month, the project is expected to shift above ground, with crews beginning to form and pour concrete footings and foundation walls, followed by slab floors. These structural elements will mark the first above-ground progress and the beginning of vertical construction for the community.
