Clean Sailing Project

Clean Sailing Project Clean Sailing Project is made up of Kali Aevermann and Steve Groh. Our goal is to educate people of this problem with a hands on approach.

Educating people of plastic pollution in our oceans through sailing charters, beach cleanups and turning the plastic we pick up into a usable resource for local communities. Two people who have traveled by land and sea, independently and together, to explore the beautiful places of this earth. In the process traveling, we have seen how severe plastic pollution has become and what it is doing to our most important resource: the ocean. When people join us on sailing charters, they will see first hand where most of the plastic ends up and how our individual actions make a difference. From cleaning plastic from beaches to sustainable living workshops in local communities, snorkeling with the fishes to organic vegetarian cooking, yoga flows at sunrise to paddle boarding at sunset, we will be educating how many ways we can all live a more eco friendly life. Whether you live on a boat or thousands of miles from water, we are all deeply connected to the sea. Let's give back to the sea what it has given to us: LIFE.

Peoples laziness is destroying our world. Please show you care about something more than yourselves by bringing your own reusable grocerie bags or insist on a paper bag. There's no excuse.

Todays paddling loot. Not the kind of treasure I was hoping to find.
Every piece of plastic I saw in the water today was single use plastic. Meaning it's ment to be used one time then discarded.
Very few people purposely litter. I believe most trash that ends up in our ocean is by accident.
Reduce your single use plastic and reduce the chance of it ending up in our ocean.

Big thanks to Annapolis Canoe and Kayak for helping me get this amazing board. I'm using it well down here in sunny Florida:)
