Our bariatric nurse coordinator will help you through the process of scheduling your procedure and any appointments you'll need before and after surgery. A registered dietitian will also monitor your progress before and after surgery as you adjust your eating habits to reflect a healthier lifestyle.

Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy has become the most common bariatric surgery procedure in the United States. Studies have shown a 67%-70% of excess weight loss at 1 year with resolution or significant improvement of comorbid conditions such as Type II Diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and sleep apnea.
Despite its success 25-30% of patients may experience acid reflux after weight loss surgery.

COVID-19 VACCINE - A new hope

Happy New Year, everyone!

A few days ago I received the first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19.
When I received the email offering me a vaccine appointment, questions lingered as I pressed the send button that secured my time slot – Will there be side effects? What about 10 years from now?
Then my mind returned to the scientific data from large clinical trials, which have been scrutinized and approved worldwide.
In addition to social distancing and masks, I firmly believe that vaccination is our best shot to stop the spread of this unprecedented pandemic, protecting you and those around you.
I am happy that I chose to do my part to end this health crisis.
