Let’s talk Tylenol during pregnancy.

Like most moms, we were told it’s “the safe choice.” But here’s what often gets left out:

• When your body breaks down acetaminophen (Tylenol), it produces a toxic byproduct called NAPQI.

• The only way to clear NAPQI is with glutathione — your master antioxidant.

• In pregnancy, glutathione runs lower… and babies in the womb have almost none to spare.😞

Studies have found acetaminophen in cord blood is linked with increased oxidative stress, and some show higher risk of autism and ADHD later on. Not every study agrees, but the mechanism is very real.

Yes, ACOG says it’s safe — but remember, “safe” does not mean risk-free.

Moms — no guilt. WE ALL made the best choices with the info we had and were given.... we were taught to trust and do what we were told.

👏But now you know: every pharmaceutical carries risk, and using it sparingly is the safest path.
