Aleesha Ackerman, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist who owns and operates Aleesha D Acupuncture in Anoka, MN. She holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture. Aleesha discovered acupuncture due to her chronic, debilitating migraine headaches following an auto accident with a semi-truck during high school.
Aleesha specializes in helping women look and feel younger using the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture protocol, treating Pain, Headaches, Stress, Anxiety, Low energy, Low mood, Digestion issues and Women’s health, including helping the body to maintain hormonal balance during Menopause and Perimenopause to relieve hot flashes, insomnia, mood swings, and PMS.
Many of her patients have chronic issues and suffer from diagnosed diseases, disorders and syndromes such as Anxiety, Crohn’s, Depression (mild to moderate), Endometriosis, IBD, IBS, Fibromyalgia, and Auto-Immune Thyroid Diseases like Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism and Grave’s Hyperthyroidism.
