This position will handle our fast-paced fingerprinting schedule, greet customers for appointments and answer phones. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism is required.

This job is long term temporary but could lead into permanent employment for the right candidate.
The schedule for this position is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am-4pm.

-Must be 18, able to pass a strict background study with credit check (due to fingerprint regulations)

Job Description
To implement, train and manage all programs for assigned clients. Prefer 6 months to 1 year experience

Responsibilities:

The ILS Worker works directly with clients, their communities, case managers and co-workers taking into account the areas of services, designated hours and community support.

Case management: Working with the clients and assisting them in reaching a higher level of independence in all areas of their life through independent living skills, behavioral management, and program services.
ILS: Working with clients on developing and implementing independent living skills Receiving input from co-workers on client goal setting, following through on goals and collecting goal data.
Household: Coaching and working with the clients on emergency situations, completing all necessary paperwork and working with the clients to live in their homes as independently as possible.
Training: Training through in-servicing, role modeling and staff meetings in the area of program services including: ILS goal areas, behavioral plans or approaches, documentation and client approach/rapport.
Meetings: Attending all meetings dealing with assigned clients as well as any meetings required by All Star Home Health Care.
Reports: Writing all reports dealing with assigned clients including; vendors, annuals, discharges, and any other required reports.
Qualifications:
Mandatory flexible schedule, being able to fulfill the required services for the clients they work with, without interfering with the clients’ daily schedule.
Prefer experience with mental health.
You must have a current driver’s license and be able to show proof of insurance.
No criminal offense (misdemeanor or felony) that would disqualify an applicant from working with Vulnerable Adults.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the following:
Background Check.
Skills:

Working well with co-workers in a team environment with training, delegating and tracking.
Being flexible in order to fulfill service hours as well as assisting in emergency situations.
Experience working with behavioral / mental health issues preferred.
Sharp interpersonal skills in order to provide working relationships with clients, outside vendors, family members and all team members involved.
Ability to work unsupervised

1. Assembly

Pull Shop order, verify details, and machine the order. Visually check machine for worn or missing parts and scan orders. Cut and end-fabricate order to customer specifications. Assemble grilles as needed. Work with measuring devices such as tape measures, caliper and proscale.

2. Inspection / Paperwork Verification
25%
Inspect grilles for defects, using the Quality Standards and rework if needed. Verify color, species and quantity. Check end cope, dado and verify correct pattern.

3. Communication / Safety
15%
Demonstrate effective communication skills and active listening skills. Interact effectively with all areas throughout the company.
Recognize safety issues and report them in a timely manner. Always use the proper PPE and safety equipment required in the department.

4. Count
5%
Count to verify lot size, package parts and label.

5. Continuous Improvement (Lean)
5%
Recognize and eliminate waste in production areas, good organization and housekeeping skills (5S.) Take active role in continuous improvement culture (lean). Contribute one quality, safety, and productivity idea per month.

6. Primary Backup
As needed
Learn areas of Removable Grilles and WW/RBA as needed.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job Summary: Incumbent cuts, audits, scans and packages products within customer specifications to meet internal and external needs. Incumbent operates and performs emergency maintenance (where applicable) and performs machine adjustments within product specifications. Trains employees on proper machining procedures and specifications. Completes other tasks as needed.

Physical: (sitting, walking, climbing, lifting, etc.) Working with mechanical parts and machines, hammers, glue, and a dusty environment. Any hazardous chemical is specifically defined on accessible safety data sheets. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and occasional repetitive motions.

Light Work: Will be continuously moving up to 10 lbs.; occasionally move up to 20 lbs.; and rarely moving up to 50 lbs. Assistance from other is available for handling material over 50 pounds.

Sensory: (visual, hearing, speaking, smell, etc.) Feeling, seeing, hearing, speaking, eye and hand coordination.

Mental: (reading, writing, reasoning, analyzing, learning, etc.) Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Minimum Qualifications: (Education/Experience, Skills) Equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
