It doesn’t seem real that it’s been almost 3 years since I closed the door of my massage studio. Daisy and I peeked in the windows this weekend, and I wasn’t surprised at the beauty that has been brought out of this ol’ place. It felt like a magical space to me years before I opened my studio there. In fact, we even took my maternity pictures around the building when Daisy was cooking. The new owners have taken a lovely shell and surroundings and have really brought it back to life.

During the craziness of our current health crisis, we moved back to Minnesota. I left a big piece of my heart in SWFL, but Minnesota called us back.

I do not have any immediate plans to return to massaging, however, I will keep you updated if I travel down that path again.

I hope you are all safe, healthy & tremendously happy.

Two years later...

Well, its officially been TWO YEARS since I closed my massage studio.

We moved to Naples, FL in October of 2017 and continue to enjoy the area.

Daisy is wrapping up Kindergarten. She keeps busy with swimming, baseball, Girl Scouts and anything that involves creating.

P***y spends most of her day sleeping. She loves having me work from home, and she follows my every move.

Eric still digs his graphic design and installer job at DeSigns and Woodwork. He gets to work on signs, cars, boats and even helicopters. He also works part time at Office Depot and helped out coaching for Daisy's Cal Ripken baseball team.

I continue to work remotely for Mary T. Hospice. I've been working with them for over 4 years, and I feel blessed that I was able to stay on after our move. I also work part time for Albanis Law in marketing and at the Bonita Spring YMCA in their childcare room. I sell Trades of Hope on the side too. I took a Spanish course at Florida SouthWestern State College spring semester, and I think I'm going to keep attending to try to improve my skills. I volunteer as a leader for Daisy's Daisy Scout Troop, and I try to volunteer in her classroom when I can.

We spend our free time at the pool, beach or exploring the area.

I hope you have been taking care of your bodies, minds & spirits, and I wish you the best!

If you win the Mega Millions tonight, I might be able to be convinced to come out of massage retirement to become your private massage therapist. Think of how nice it would be to get a lovely massage as you travel the world (with my by your side of course)!

If you’ve been missing Siena Soap Company products that I carried, you can now find some in downtown Anoka at Chema Malu.

It’s officially been one year since I closed the doors at my massage studio.

We have been living in Naples, Fl for just about 7 months.

Daisy is finishing up preschool, and she will become a Vineyard Viper this August. She isn’t thrilled that her mascot is a snake, but I think it will make her tough. Daisy’s brother, Rainbow Fish, tragically died this week, so she’s been pretty sad. She received Rainbow as a gift when she turned 4.

P***y the pug has been battling Lyme Disease, but she’s been feeling pretty good lately. She likes to lay in the sun from our patio door and bark at the animals that taunt her on the other side of the glass.

Eric is working as a graphic designer and installer at DeSigns & Woodwork. He gets to work on a variety of things from signs to fancy cars. He also works part time at Office Depot.

I am still working remotely with Mary T. Inc. Hospice in marketing. I also work part time for Albanis Law in Naples with marketing. Besides working in hospice and estate planning, I started selling jewelry, accessories and home decor with Sarah Anderson: Independent CE for Trades of Hope.

We enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins spring training practices and even made it to a game when they played the Rays. We also caught the Minnesota Wild when they played Panthers. Eric claims we will always be Minnesota sports fans, but I’m not convinced. Other than that, we have been soaking up the sun at beaches and the pool.

I hope you all have been doing well and have continued to get massages! I think of many of you often, and I wonder how the new job is, what you named your baby, if the new person that you’re dating is all that you deserve... please continue to take care of your bodies, minds & spirits.

Daisy and I are packing up from a road trip to Naples, FL. We left Eric & P***y at home, but we brought our first load of stuff down! Along with some belongings, we brought along some signs that I was given by some great clients.

Thank you for making this journey possible with your love & support.

One of my biggest supporters of my business was Kerri Anderson with I Have A Bag For That. She's assisted me in finding the perfect bags for my business & personal use. She also donated to every single event that I hosted. I'm getting ready to close out a party with her. I picked this month because my favorite product-the large utility tote-is the special. If you want to place an order, just follow the link.
