Health Science Students from HCISD (Hamlin Collegiate ISD) interested in Workforce Solutions internships had the incredible opportunity to tour Anson General Hospital.

Students explored multiple departments and gained valuable insight into the wide variety of career paths and job opportunities available in the healthcare field.

Happy Rad Tech Week to all those that go above and beyond for our patients!

Rad Tech Week was established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) in 1979 to celebrate the importance of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. Initially celebrated in July, the dates were changed to the week of November 8th to coincide with the anniversary of Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen's discovery of the x-ray on November 8, 1895. The week honors the crucial role of radiologic technologists in patient care and raises public awareness about the profession
