Elixir for cold: Cloves, cinnamon, rosemary, ginger, cranberries, oranges, and a slice of lemon, honey to taste. Put all the ingredients in a pot and boil, then to low temp and cook it down for 30 minutes. Strain it out add as much honey as you'd like and feel better.

I had the great honor of having a father who served in the Navy. James Barrett II was on the USS Austin during the Vietnam era. My father was very proud of his service to his country, and always spoke very highly about his time in. He was in ROTC and shipped out right after his high school graduation. He was a Machinist Mate. His love for machines and dedication to his training translated into a 50 plus year career in the industry. From maintaining the machines that build jet engines for Garrett Turbine to finally retiring with Honeywell International. His career and his life were centered around his time in the US Navy. Thank you.

Exciting news! Function Massage is soon launching a new floor massage modality offering! This ancient practice has its roots in India, China, Japan, and Thailand, dating back around 5,000 years. During a session, you'll experience a clothes-on massage on the floor, incorporating passive stretching, pressure points, and deep sustained compression techniques.

With a background in Shiatsu from massage school and recent continuing education in Thai massage, I'm thrilled to share this modality with you. After practicing with volunteers for over a year, I'm now set to offer this unique experience at Function Massage in The Suites on 41st – a dream I've had since discovering Shiatsu in 2010.
