HOW PENGUINS KEEP WARM

Penguin feathers are an incredible display of God’s design. Unlike typical birds, penguins have densely packed feathers, over 100 feathers per square inch, creating a waterproof and insulating barrier that keeps them warm even in sub zero Antarctic waters. These feathers interlock tightly, form a slick outer coat, and are constantly preened with oil from a special gland God gave them. This allows penguins to swim through freezing oceans without soaking their skin.

Beneath their feathers, penguins also have a thick layer of fat for insulation, perfectly suited for their harsh climate. Evolution cannot account for such a precise combination of traits working together. Dense waterproof feathers, oil producing glands, and insulating body fat must all exist at the same time for survival in extreme cold. This is not something that could slowly evolve. If even one part were missing, the penguin would freeze. God’s hand is clearly seen in this flawless engineering. He designed penguins fully equipped from the very beginning.

Polarizing Article:
A woman who spent 11 years in prostitution stepped into the water and came out baptized — and for some reason, that makes people uncomfortable.

Not because it isn’t powerful.
But because it forces a hard truth: the Gospel was never meant for the cleaned-up, the respectable, or the already righteous.

Jesus didn’t flinch at broken pasts. He ran straight toward them.

This moment isn’t about celebrating a lifestyle — it’s about celebrating deliverance. It’s about a woman who carried years of trauma, exploitation, shame, and survival finally laying it down and choosing something different.

Yet critics always show up.
“Why highlight her past?”
“Why glorify sin?”

Here’s the reality: her past is exactly why grace looks so loud here. You don’t understand forgiveness until you understand what was forgiven.

The same Jesus who forgave the woman caught in adultery…
The same Jesus who said, “Those who are forgiven much, love much”…
Is the same Jesus meeting people today — not after they get it all together, but right in the middle of the mess.

If her story offends you, maybe it’s not the baptism you’re reacting to —
maybe it’s the reminder that no one is beyond redemption.

And that includes people we’d rather write off.

Grace was never fair.
That’s the point.
