Arizona Urban Woods

The source of our wood products comes from recycling the unique and diverse variety of trees from al Michael Ackerson received a degree in forestry in 1977.

He worked in the private tree care industry and became a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture in 1989. Michael and his wife, Cristine, started their own tree care company (Professional Tree Surgery) in 1985. In 2003 a mobile dimension sawmill was purchased to utilize the trees they were hired to remove. In 2012 a Norwood band saw was added to their operation.
