Pizza and Beer is one of our favorite activities here at Brookdale Apache Junction. We also have future entertainers do a preview of their music as part of our entertainment schedule. This local entertainer, Candice, did a performance of her music for our residents, and they loved her style.

Our residents enjoyed the scenery at Saguaro Lake. We loved the tour on the Desert Belle Boat. We actually saw bighorn sheep in the mountains. Did you know that the Saguaro cactus only begins to grow additional arms when it reaches the age of 50 years old? Such wonderful history about Arizona.

Brookdale Apache Junction had such a successful Casino Day event. The event included the illusionist, Rick Gilliam, an open bar with our delicious lunch buffet, casino table games, and our local Vegas style entertainer, George Stanley. Our community had so much fun putting on this event for our residents and future residents.

Our residents toured the Beautiful St. Anthony's Monastery in Florence, Arizona. The monks who reside there maintain the beautiful gardens on the property. Our residents were amazed at the perfectly kept grounds.

Puzzle Wars! We love to challenge our puzzle skills with a competition! Our puzzle lovers race to complete their puzzles first. Congratulations to all residents that participated! There was only a 12 piece difference in the winners.

Our residents love to challenge themselves to answer trivia and play ping pong. Our resident toss the ping pong ball and bounce into a cup of water for points. Highest score this month was Bonnie with 225 points. Congratulations, Bonnie!
