✨ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱, 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 ✨
One of my favorite reminders is this quote:
“𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒛𝒆, 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒏, 𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒏.”

As bodyworkers, we have to remember that healing is not limited to one method, one culture, or one lineage. Massage and traditional medicine are practiced all over the world, and every culture carries its own wisdom, techniques, and tools.
Just because a method doesn’t align with your training, or you don’t fully understand it...doesn’t mean it should be criticized or dismissed.

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲.
Many traditional methods have been practiced for thousands of years, and people continue to experience powerful results from them today.

💡Instead of jumping to conclusions, we can choose to:
- stay curious
- ask questions
- learn the purpose and proper application
-and remain respectful of other practitioners and traditions

Because the truth is:
𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁.
Give a scalpel to a surgeon and lives are saved; in the wrong hands it can cause harm. 🔪

You don’t have to learn every method or practice every technique… but we do have a responsibility to keep an open mind and uphold respect within our industry.

Let’s keep growing, keep learning, and keep honoring the many paths of healing. 🤍
