I haven’t put an update out recently so here it is.!

I’m doing great considering I had a 5mm tumor removed from my brain. That’s about the size of a small lemon!

I have some minor issues with my left hand but I’ll take that rather than have tumor cells left behind. Thank you Dr. Patel, Dr Khasraw and everyone at the Duke Brain tumor Center.

All my MRIs have been clear. I have another MRI next week. Please pray that it is clear!

I’ve been tolerating my chemo treatments very well,but the fatigue and chemo brain seems to be increasing.

Please pray that I don’t have tumor regrowth and that I continue to tolerate the chemo well. Also pray for my wonderful wife and three sons & wives/fiance who are doing an amazing job helping me navigate through everything. It’s just as hard or harder for them! I love them all very much and I’m so thankful for them! Oh,of course my wonderful,sweet 1 year old granddaughter too(Amelia). She’s walking all over now!

Thanks to god for helping me deal with this, for allowing a full resection, for my tumor being methylated, and for the many many people praying for me! It’s been amazing to hear how many people are praying for me. I have people in Florida, NC, SC, Colorado, Arizona, CA, Kentucky, and probably other states too.

God is great! 🙏

I had a clean scan in February and have my next MRI this week. I'm feeling good and tolerating the chemo very well.

I’m almost done with the radiation treatments and will be taking a short break from chemotherapy. They’ll get a baseline MRI then I’ll start back on chemotherapy probably for a year.

I’m feeling good and in good health. We have to keep the tumor from growing back. The only side effect I’ve had is that I lost 2/3 of my hair from the radiation so I shaved my head. It will start growing back once I’m done with the radiation treatments.

Recovery is still going very well. Taking walks daily. About 1.5 miles!

I start radiation therapy and chemotherapy soon. Please pray that these treatments get rid of any remaining tumor cells and that I don’t have too many side effects!

All the doctors, nurses, & staff at the Duke Brain tumor Center and Duke Hospitalare amazing. I’m so blessed to live only 20 minutes from one of the best places to be treated for this disease!

So far the recovery from surgery is going very good. I’m feeling good with no new issues.

I’m back home after having the tumor removed by Dr Patel. He said everything went very well. He was able to get the first part in one pieace which gave him time to clean the remaining area with no further impairment Praise God. Everyone at Duke main hospital is amazing. I’m so glad to be home with it out of my head. Now onto full recovery !
