đĽI donât often post numbers, but this one matters.
Between July 2022 and May 2023, I completed 200 hours of formal training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy through IPI. This included:
⢠80 APA-approved CE hours
⢠20 hours of prerequisite coursework
⢠Two virtual intensives totaling 40 hours
⢠10 months of weekly live lectures and faculty-supported learning (3â4 hours per week)
⢠Bi-monthly small group home sessions and large group seminars
⢠A 3-day in-person ketamine experiential training
That is just the coursework!
Since completing the program, I have co-led a monthly alumni group, guided clients through deep inner healing journeys, partnered with a local ketamine clinic to shift from a purely medical model into a more therapeutic and experience-driven approach, and begun training other therapists in this work.
Hereâs something most people donât realize. At minimum, someone can watch a 3-hour video and call themselves a Ketamine Assisted Therapist. Many do a single weekend training. Thatâs not how I practice.
Psychedelic medicine opens access to deeply stored trauma in the brain and body. When held without proper support, it can be re-traumatizing or, at best, ineffective. This work requires attunement to mind, body, spirit, and the larger energetic field in which healing happens.
If you are receiving ketamine treatment and want true therapeutic support, we offer preparation, in-session support, and integration services in our intentionally curated healing space, as well as collaboration with local clinics. We also provide integration support between sessions so the insights donât fade, they root.
If youâre ready to do this work safely, intentionally, and with deep respect for your nervous system and inner wisdom, reach out.
This is not quick-fix healing. This is sacred work, and it deserves to be held that way. â¨
