Meet Matthew Chaban, a Co-Owner of Hunt Club Durable Medical Equipment and a Founding Partner of Chaban Law Group.

He combines his entrepreneurial leadership with extensive legal expertise to support healthcare and family law clients across Central Florida.

At Hunt Club Durable Medical Equipment, Matthew plays a strategic role in guiding the company’s growth and commitment to providing reliable, high-quality medical equipment essential for patient care. His legal background, particularly in family law, equips him with a deep understanding of the complex regulatory and compliance requirements in healthcare, ensuring that the business operates with integrity and meets the highest standards.

Matthew earned his Juris Doctorate from Barry University Law School and has focused his legal career on family law, handling sensitive cases involving divorce, child custody, alimony, adoption, and domestic violence. Known for his compassionate and client-centered approach, he prioritizes clear communication and empowers clients to make informed decisions. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Matthew serves a diverse client base with empathy and professionalism.

He works closely with his wife, Alena, who is also part of the Chaban Law Group team, further strengthening their shared commitment to advocacy and service.

Outside of his professional roles, Matthew is a dedicated father to his son Julian and daughter Vivian.

Meet Dr. Christian Chaban, a Co-Owner of Hunt Club Durable Medical Equipment and a practicing pediatrician at Hunt Club Pediatrics.

He works alongside his father, Dr. Carlos Chaban. Since a young age, it has been his dream to join his father in both clinical care and business, a vision they now share through their leadership of both practices.

Dr. Chaban plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Hunt Club Durable Medical Equipment to provide high-quality, dependable medical equipment to patients and providers across Central Florida. His clinical experience helps ensure that the company’s services meet real patient needs and uphold professional healthcare standards.

He earned his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman and completed his pediatric residency at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando. Dr. Chaban graduated summa cm laude from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, grilling, boating, fishing, traveling, and relaxing at the beach.

Meet Dr. Carlos Chaban, the CEO of Hunt Club Durable Medical Equipment.

He leads with over two decades of medical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare solutions. His clinical background gives him a unique perspective on the importance of dependable medical equipment in supporting both patients and providers—something that drives the mission and operations of Hunt Club DME every day.

Prior to founding and leading Hunt Club Durable Medical Equipment, Dr. Chaban serves Central Florida as a general pediatrician for more than 20 years. He completed his pediatric residency at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Disease and Immunology at the University of Florida, earning recognition for outstanding service.

Dr. Chaban also founded Hunt Club Pediatric Associates in 1999 and continues to hold staff privileges at several hospitals across Central Florida. His leadership in both clinical care and medical operations reflects his lifelong commitment to improving patient outcomes through innovation and compassionate service.

Outside of work, Dr. Chaban enjoys spending time with his growing family, traveling, playing golf—and yes, he’s recently become quite the pickleball player, so watch out!
