It’s been 7 years since the inspiration for Wings Physiotherapy, left this earth. The name Wings comes from a program that Dr. Emily’s mom started called Women Inspiring and Nurturing Girls to Succeed (WINGS). While we do a little bit more than that now, the inspiration and our values stay the same.

We had a great time at Combined Sections Meeting!
We had a chance to expand our knowledge to help better serve our ALL of our patients. From pregnancy to constipation to chronic pelvic pain to hypermobility—the list could go on and on.
We also got to spend some time improving our communication, exploring new ideas to sustain our practice in challenging times where payment for services continues to decline, and networking with other providers.

Feeling so inspired after our Christmas gathering with the High Desert Maternal & Birthworkers Collective 🎄✨

There’s something incredibly empowering about bringing doulas, midwives, pelvic floor PTs, and more into the same space. When we collaborate across disciplines, we don’t just share knowledge—we expand what’s possible for the families we serve.

Every conversation reminds us how powerful a united birth community can be. Together, we’re building support systems that honor every stage of the perinatal journey and make care more accessible, compassionate, and evidence-informed.
