People don’t experience the world directly; they experience their interpretation of it. Our brains filter everything through beliefs, past experiences, emotions, and biases. That’s why two people can see the exact same situation and walk away with completely different conclusions.

It’s not that most people are completely detached from reality—it’s that everyone’s version of reality is distorted in some way.

Stay focused.

Not every voice deserves your attention. Not every invitation deserves your time. Distractions will always be there—but so is your purpose. When you keep God first, everything else falls into alignment. Don’t let noise pull you away from what you prayed for.

Let’s be honest—some people wouldn’t last a week in the janitorial business. It’s not for everyone!

Late nights. Early mornings.
Tight margins. High expectations.
And doing work that only gets noticed when it’s NOT done.

This industry doesn’t reward talk. It rewards resilience.

It’s showing up when your team calls off. It’s fixing problems no one else wants to deal with. Pushing forward through the setbacks. It’s delivering the same level of quality—whether someone’s watching or not.

A lot of people like the idea of owning a business while few are willing to do the work that comes with it.

That’s the difference!

Resilience isn’t a buzzword here—it’s survival. And if you can handle this industry, you can handle just about anything.

Respect to everyone out there getting it done behind the scenes.

We don’t always get recognition—but we earn everything!

A clean space shouldn’t be something you have to think about.

At its best, cleaning is quiet, consistent, and simply handled — so you can focus on running your business, supporting your team, and serving your customers.

That’s the approach we believe in.

It’s not about rushing through a checklist — it’s about paying attention to the details over time:

• Making sure your space feels welcoming every morning

• Taking care of the little things before they become big issues

• Showing up reliably, week after week

Trust is built in the small moments people don’t always see.

We’re grateful for the clients who trust us to take care of their spaces — it’s something we don’t take lightly.

If you ever have questions about your current cleaning setup or just want a second opinion, I’m always happy to connect.

💬 What does a “well-maintained space” mean to you?

Me heading out for a cleaning job: calm, confident, professional.

My brain 2 seconds later: “Do you have everything though…?”

Now I’m back inside tearing through my supplies like I’m on a game show.

“Microfiber towels? Check. Spray bottles? Check. Vacuum? CHECK CHECK. Extra trash bags? …wait… do I actually have them or did I think about grabbing them??”

Next thing you know I’ve opened the same bag 6 times, stared directly at the supplies, and still don’t trust myself.

Because NOTHING will humble you faster than pulling up to a job and realizing you forgot the one thing you absolutely need 😭

Cleaning might be 90% work and 10% panic-checking your trunk before you leave the driveway.

Showing up every day doesn’t always look the same—and that’s okay.

Some days you’re focused, energized, and pushing forward at full speed. Other days, just getting started feels like a win. But both count.

Progress isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistency in all its forms—the strong days, the slow days, and everything in between.

Give yourself credit for showing up, however that looks today. Because it all adds up. 💪

Some days are long… like really long. The kind where your body is tired, your mind is drained, and all you want is a moment to sit still.

But at the same time, there’s this quiet sense of satisfaction. Knowing you showed up, put in the work, handled what needed to be done, and kept moving forward no matter how tired you felt.

Exhausted… but grateful.
Worn out… but proud.

Not every day is easy, but days like this remind me that progress doesn’t always feel good in the moment—it just means you didn’t quit. 💪

You are not a prisoner of your past.

Who you were, what you did, what you went through — those things shaped you, but they do not define the limits of who you can become. Growth requires distance, and sometimes that distance means letting go of the people who only knew the older version of you.

Some people will always see you through the lens of your past. Not because you haven’t changed, but because they haven’t allowed themselves to see you differently. And if you stay around them too long, you risk shrinking yourself to fit their version of you.

Let them go.

Not out of anger, not out of pride — but out of respect for your own evolution. You deserve to be seen for who you are becoming, not just who you used to be.

Growth is uncomfortable. It will cost you familiarity, relationships, and sometimes entire chapters of your life. But what it gives you in return is freedom.

And freedom is worth everything.

People think being a janitor is just pushing a mop around.

Meanwhile I’m:

1) Solving mysteries (“Who microwaved fish in the break room?”)

2) Performing science experiments with mystery stains

3) Playing real-life Tetris in the supply closet

4) Breaking up fights between the vacuum cord and every chair leg in the building

5) Finding things that have been “missing” for 6 months in under 30 seconds

Honestly, we don’t clean buildings. We maintain civilization. 🤭

Today we pause to remember the profound meaning behind the Memorial of Jesus’ death.

It is a time to reflect on the depth of love, sacrifice, and hope shown through his life and his willingness to give it for others. His example reminds us of humility, compassion, forgiveness, and unwavering faith.

As we observe this occasion, may we not only remember what was done for us, but also strive to live in a way that reflects those same qualities—showing love to others, extending kindness, and holding onto hope even in difficult times. 💯

“Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19

Not every job comes with applause, recognition, or a title people admire—but that doesn’t make it any less meaningful. Honest work is something to be proud of. It takes discipline, resilience, and responsibility to show up every day and do what needs to be done.

Whether your hands are calloused, your clothes get dirty, or your work goes unseen—remember this: you are providing, you are building, you are surviving, and that is powerful.

There is no shame in working hard. The only shame is in giving up on yourself.

Respect the grind. Respect your journey. And never let anyone make you feel small for doing what you must to take care of your life.
