If anyone out there in FB land is a part of California Academy of Audiology-CAA(CAA), and hasn't yet voted for the new Board Of Directors, please find your email that went out on 10/17/25 and vote. You have until 11/10/25 to vote.
I am running for Audiology Specialty Representative and would greatly appreciate your vote of confidence in the election process.
I am very excited for the opportunity to be in consideration among so many outstanding Audiology colleagues.
If elected, I hope to bring forward information from the Board and also be a great advocate for all things Audiology. I am grateful I have had the great experience of 35 years of Audiology in California. I hope to ignite the excitement I still feel for Audiology because this has been such a wonderful, expansive, and incredible career.

Kristi Mendoza, Au.D.
Dr. Mendoza is an audiologist and successful practice owner with a passion for giving back. Dr. Mendoza strives to go above and beyond the brick and mortar and build strong relationships with manufacturers, colleagues, and patients. Dr. Mendoza holds a Master's in Audiology from California State University, Long Beach before obtaining her Doctorate of Audiology from A.T. Still University in Arizona.
Dr. Mendoza looks forward to the opportunity to share her passion and motivation for excellence in our field with those who are new and those who are more experienced. Dr. Mendoza has worked with Entheos Audiology Cooperative and has served as a member. Dr. Mendoza brings with her years of experience in leadership, clinical practice, private practice ownership, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
Dr. Mendoza is passionate about advocating for audiologists and ensuring the profession continues to thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape. She believes the California Academy of Audiology plays a vital role in supporting practitioners, promoting public awareness, and advancing policies that protect and empower both clinicians and patients. With her heart for service, Dr. Mendoza is ready to represent the next generation of leadership within CAA, advocating for the future of the profession and the patients it serves.
