At Achieve, we provide therapy services to patients with movement or functional skill issues related

Achieve Health & Wellness provides neurologic therapy services for patients with movement or functional skill issues related to a disease or illness of the nervous system, including:

• Traumatic Brain Injury
• Post Stroke (CVA)
• Cerebral Palsy
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Balance Disorders
• Other neurologic disorders and syndromes (Spina Bifida, Down Syndrome, Seizure Disorders)
• Sensory Integrative Dysfunction
• Fine Motor Delay
• Visual Motor

After a brain injury or with a progressive neurological condition, brain cells that are not injured can learn to control missing functionality for enhanced recovery and improved-long term health. Services Provided at Achieve:
•General Outpatient Physical Therapy
•General Outpatient Occupational Therapy
•Modified Intensive Therapy (2 hours/day; 2-3 days/week)
•Intensive Physical Therapy (3 hours/day; 5 days/week)

A universal cuff is an adaptive tool that can be used to help with sustained grasp which helps to increase independence with holding onto a variety of utensils. And in this example, holding onto a paint brush, allowing Miss J to paint more independently!

We’re hosting a course this spring! We’ve seen great responses when using this modality with our kids and are excited to have more trained therapists to offer TASES as part of our PT or OT sessions at all 3 locations!

Registration is now open online! Any PT’s or OT’s interested can now sign up to attend. Share this with any therapists you know who may be interested in adding another great tool to their toolbox
