Today we celebrated Mardi Gras! Both buildings had devotions, delicious cupcakes (complete with a hidden baby for each building) and had a little party. Residents wore beads and masks, crowned a Mardi Gras Queen in AL, and played a toss game with beads or doubloons. They all did great!!

We were able to celebrate an early Valentines Day with small parties in each building. Both buildings had devotions followed by hot chocolate and cupcakes in MC and coffee and cookies in AL. Both buildings also played a spinner game with prizes. Lots of fun for everybody!

Today our residents played different versions of bean bag toss. Our lovely ladies in MC had a great time challenging each other, the caregivers and even some visitors! Thank you to Tammy and friends from Compassus Hospice for hanging out with us. The AL residents played bean bag with a twist. They love the challenge of trying to win a prize! It was a great day for everybody!

Yesterday, we celebrated National Puzzle day! MC residents worked on a memory puzzle game and AL residents did some rembus puzzles. Today was National Have Fun at Work Day and we celebrated with a pajama day. We also had hot chocolate and played a round of Put a Finger Down with staff and residents. Lots of fun was had this past week! Our memory care residents looked for hidden items within a puzzle they built, wrote a story on National Creativity day and shared lots of laughs while playing Uno. Assisted living residents celebrated National Cheese day with a cheese tasting, celebrated resident birthdays and, of course, bingo in both buildings!

We've had a great week so far! Yesterday, AL residents had a cute little visitor while waiting for podiatry and then played bingo after lunch. Today after devotions, MC residents had a surprise violin performance. A UWSP student stopped by and played beautiful music for them. They loved it! Short video of performance in comments.

Today the residents in both buildings celebrated the coming in of the new year! We had a great time eating snacks, treats and toasting with "champagne" afyer a countdown. Lots a fun and big smiles. Happy New Year everybody!!

With 2025 coming to an end, I would like to take time to remember some of the fun we've had this past year..Enjoy!!
