Children at funerals often need ways to express emotions they cannot yet put into words. Art gives them a meaningful outlet during such an emotional day. You can set up a simple table with paper and crayons where kids can draw pictures or write messages for their loved one. These creations often become the most treasured keepsakes families hold onto or display during the service.

Their absence shows up in unexpected moments and catches you off guard, like when you reach for your phone to text about something funny, or set the table with an extra plate out of habit. Love has muscle memory too.

We carry their presence in the memories we return to again and again. The bond you shared continues to show up in new ways throughout your world, finding expression in the habits, stories, and moments that keep their memory close.

We often serve families who are unsure if the person who passed would want a funeral or any kind of gathering, especially when they never felt tied to a church or used to shrug and say, "Skip the fuss." We understand that.

We also see how even a small gathering or ritual can open the door to connection in ways that surprise people. Those simple moments often stand out later because they felt honest, personal, and exactly right for the family. If you'd like to talk through options, our team is ready to listen and guide you.

Have you considered who you'll trust to know your funeral choices?

Your family will face some big decisions when they're planning your celebration of life. Should they choose burial or cremation? What kind of service would you want? Would you prefer your favorite hymn or that song you always sang along to in the car?

They might second-guess every choice if they don't know your preferences. But when you've shared these thoughts with someone you trust, they can guide the family with confidence and know they're honoring exactly what mattered to you.

(And while you're having that conversation, ask those you love what they'd want, too.)

Who in your life will you trust to carry your voice forward?

"What is a cremation casket?"
A cremation casket is designed to be cremated along with your loved one. These caskets use wood or other combustible materials without heavy metal parts that can't be cremated.
Cremation caskets range from simple containers to more elaborate options, depending on what feels right for your family and whether you're planning a viewing. If you're having a viewing, we can walk you through what's available and help you decide what makes sense for your family.

Children want to help when someone they love has died, and giving them small jobs at the funeral makes them feel useful during such a hard day, and helps the process their grief. Suggest they hand out programs, help with flowers, or just greet people as they come in, always giving them the choice and control to opt in or out. These little tasks give kids something to do with their hands and hearts when everything feels too big and sad. We love helping families figure out which role feels right for each child.
