This Christmas, we pause. 🕯️

We hold a small light in our hands and whisper quiet prayers into the night. Prayers for healing where there is pain. For rest where hearts feel heavy. For peace where minds feel overwhelmed. And for love to reach those who feel alone.

The world can feel loud and uncertain, but moments like this remind us that kindness still matters. That hope still flickers. That even the smallest light can warm a weary soul.

May this season wrap us all in compassion, soften our hearts, and remind us to care for one another a little more gently.

This Christmas, may kindness surround us all. ❤️🎄🕯️

If Christmas turned your grief up to 100% this year, it doesn’t mean you’re “ungrateful”—it means you’re human and you loved deeply.

-The songs say “joy,”
-The movies say “magic,”
-The photos say “everyone’s together.”

But your heart says,

“Someone is missing.”

-Maybe this is the first Christmas without them.
-Maybe it’s been years

and it still catches in your throat when you see

-their favourite dish,
-their ornament,
-their seat at the table.

Grief doesn’t disappear just because the calendar says “holiday season.”
God doesn’t tell you to “get over it.”
He doesn’t roll His eyes at the tears that still come.

“[He is] the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles…” – 2 Corinthians 1:3–4

All our troubles.

-Not just the “spiritual-sounding” ones.
-Not just the ones that fit into a neat prayer request.
-That ache in your chest when you see their photo?
-That quiet moment when you slip away to the bathroom to cry?
-That guilt you feel for wishing the season would just hurry up and end?

He sees all of that.

And He doesn’t meet you with shame—
He meets you with comfort.

This Christmas, it’s okay if your prayer sounds like:

“God, I miss them.
I miss their voice, their laugh, their presence.
I’m grateful You sent Jesus,
but my heart still hurts.
Hold the part of me that feels shattered.
Sit with me in the empty places.
Remind me that You haven’t forgotten my pain,
and that You are big enough
to carry both my grief and my gratitude at the same time.”

-Heaven is real.
-Hope is real.
-Jesus is real.

And so is the hurt you feel right now.
He is not asking you to choose between being honest and being faithful—
He’s inviting you to bring your honesty into your faith. 🕊️
