🌿Nutritional Healing Community Resources Spotlight🌿
At Nutritional Healing, we love highlighting local resources that empower our community’s wellness journey. We know that lasting healing happens when the body is supported from all angles. That’s why we love collaborating with community providers like Chad Gossen. This past week, our nutritionist, Savanna headed over to Motion Forge Fitness in Appleton!
Chad is a movement specialist and therapist with 20 years of experience helping people get out of pain, move better, and regain confidence in their bodies. Chad works with clients from a wide range of ages, anywhere from 9–89, with a strong focus on adults 45+ who feel stuck in the cycle of pain, stiffness, and fear of movement.
Every new client begins with a free consultation, allowing Chad to assess movement patterns, posture, and goals to create a plan that’s fully individualized (never cookie-cutter).
Chad’s Services Include:
• Personal Training
• Corrective Exercise
• Neuromuscular Therapy
• Massage Therapy
• Functional Stretching
• Online Coaching
• Nutritional Consulting & Supplementation
What is Corrective Exercise?
Corrective exercise focuses on improving how the body moves. Chad assesses posture, balance, gait, and functional movements to identify imbalances or compensations that may be causing pain. Exercises are then prescribed to restore proper alignment, improve mobility, and build strength safely, so clients can move with confidence again.
What is Neuromuscular Therapy?
Neuromuscular therapy is a targeted form of pain management, not a relaxation massage. Chad uses detailed assessments to locate the root cause of pain, muscle tension, or nerve irritation. It is also used for restoring proper function and mobility. Treatment is paired with corrective exercises and stretches to support long-term relief, improved function, and retraining so movement patterns become habitual.
Massage Therapy:
Massage therapy focuses on relaxation, circulation, and stress reduction. It helps calm the nervous system, support recovery, and reduce muscle tension, making it a great complement to training and corrective work.
One of the things we admire most about Chad is his team-based mindset. He frequently works alongside orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists, and nutrition professionals (like us!) to ensure clients receive comprehensive, well-rounded care.
Chad also has a strong passion for serving first responders, veterans, law enforcement, and individuals in high-stress professions, supporting them with movement, recovery, and pain management strategies that fit their demanding lifestyles. Contact Chad today!
