Last night's third-annual Veterans Ball was a night to remember. Residents, families, and community guests gathered to honor those who’ve served—complete with cocktails, jazz, and heartfelt reflections from veterans like LeRoy Frahm, who shared, “We not only want to recognize those veterans, we want to recognize their families, who are under the strain and sacrifice, especially when they are deployed and gone from their home.”

To every veteran and their loved ones: thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and service. We also thank WBAY TV-2 for covering this meaningful event.

The evening was filled with cocktails, appetizers, and jazz.

This Veterans Day, we’re especially proud to share the story of Touchmark resident and U.S. Navy Veteran Ken Cumings, whose 25-year career reflects the strength and resilience found in so many who’ve served.

🌅 Door County Adventure!

Our Touchmark residents had an amazing overnight getaway to beautiful Door County! We enjoyed a scenic Door County Trolley tour, delicious Wild Tomato pizza, and a breathtaking walk to the top of Eagle Tower at Peninsula State Park.

We stayed at the lovely Landmark Resort, dined at The English Inn, and ended the evening with a performance of Steel Magnolias at the Peninsula Players Theatre.

Of course, no trip to Door County would be complete without breakfast at The Blue Bear (hands down the best breakfast!! ) and a quick stop at Lautenbach’s before heading home.

What a wonderful few days filled with laughter, great food, and even better company! ❤️
