Winter in Wisconsin means one thing for a lot of families: ski season is in full swing. ⛷️

Whether you’re logging miles on cross-country trails or spending weekends carving turns downhill, skiing asks a lot of the body—often more than we realize.

Hours in stiff boots.
Cold muscles working overtime.
Repetitive movements that favor one side.
And little time between ski days to fully recover.

As the season goes on, many skiers start to notice:
• Tight hips or a sore low back after long days
• Knees that feel “off” on turns or climbs
• Foot and ankle fatigue that lingers even after the boots come off
• Neck and shoulder tension from poles, balance, and bracing against the cold

Most skiers chalk it up to “part of the sport.”
