For many years running, the team at Valley Eye Associates has proudly partnered with Salvation Army to help make the holidays brighter for local children! We are honored to continue this annual traditon to help the Toys for Tots campaign!

Thanks to the generosity of our staff, doctors, and community, we were able to collect and donate a wonderful collection of new toys. It's truly a privilege to support this incredible cause and bring smiles to children across our community.

Valley Eye Associates and Pinnacle Cataract and Laser Institute would like to welcome back Dr. Michael Vrabec and his team from their mission trip to El Fuerte, Mexico. The team included Dr. Vrabec, scrub technician Jessica, implant expert Melissa from Chicago, as well as two pre-optometry students, Payton and Sam. Together, they screened nearly 300 patients and performed 32 sight-saving cataract procedures. We thank them for assisting those with limited access to eye care in the northwest state of Sinaloa, Mexico. All the cases went beautifully and the team looks forward to their next trip in the future.

Dr. Phil Smith presented to a wonderful group of retirees in Oshkosh this morning. He shared information on a variety of eye care topics, including cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. It's clear that eye health is a top priority, and we are grateful to Dr. Smith for taking time over lunch to educate our community on common age-related conditions and preventative care. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
