Fox Valley Autism Treatment Program Welcome to Fox Valley Autism Treatment Program. Serving Appleton and surrounding areas since 1998.

We offer diagnostic evals, ABA, respite, social skills group, and fun community events, such as our Halloween Event and our Christmas Event. Our psychologists and therapists have years of hands on experience and training in a variety of treatment approaches to help children with autism spectrum disorders. One of the most important treatments we offer is ABA – Applied Behavior Analysis. ABA is a treatment approach with strong data supporting its effectiveness. Private insurance and the Medicaid waiver, our two major funding sources, require that treatment be “evidence-based”, and ABA has more research support than any other approach. With ABA, we teach skills and reduce problem behaviors in children of all ages with autism, Asperger’s syndrome and pervasive developmental disorder. It is highly individualized, meaning your child’s therapy is customized to his/her abilities, challenges and motivations. With ABA, we identify and work to improve specific concerns with:
communication, self care and independent daily living skills, social skills, behavior problems and “meltdowns”, sensory problems and oversensitivity to touch, noise and other stimuli and other issues, attention, transitions, generalization of skills.Delivered properly, ABA is positive, flexible, measurable and empowering for kids and their families. Our team of psychologists and therapists have been studying and using this approach for many years, with great success.

Santa Celebration 2025 has come to an end, and our hearts are so full! We had the absolute best time celebrating with all of YOU—from smiling faces and happy dances to frosting-covered cheeks that made the day extra sweet.

A huge thank you to WisconSibs for partnering with us to host an event that is so near and dear to our hearts. We are also incredibly grateful to all of the volunteers who gave their time and energy to help make this day so special.

And the biggest thank you of all to the families who came out to celebrate with us—seeing those joyful smiles is what it’s all about. ❤️

🎅 Santa Celebration is almost here! 🎄
Come join us for a day full of holiday spirit and cheer!

Our first event kicks off this Saturday from 9–12 at the FVATP office, featuring cookies, hot cocoa, ornament making, pictures with Santa, and lots more festive fun! While our Sensory Santa spots are full, our Community Santa will be there and excited to take photos with everyone.

Families who registered will be able to stop by Santa’s Workshop to pick up a small gift to take home. If you weren’t able to sign up—no worries! We have stockings filled with fun surprises to help make the season bright.

Our second Santa Celebration will take place on December 17th from 4–7 PM. Stay tuned for more details!
