Hello clients and friends. Many of you know I’m much better with massage than with technology, but I’m excited to finally share this update: Masaje Bodywork Studio has moved and found a beautiful new home on the river.
The new space is larger, brighter, and filled with a renewed sense of hope.
Whether you’re hoping to sneak in for an extra session or it’s been a while since your last visit, I still have a few spots open this month. As always, you know how to reach me. 😊

The new schedule is:

Monday and Wednesdays 10am-4pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm-9pm
Every other Sunday 10am-4pm

Hi all - I want to thank everyone of my clients that reached out with well wishes, support and eagerness to get back to the studio. I am very ready to get back to work as soon as possible. However I’m still needed by my family at this time and will continue on until the situation stables.
For now I will be keeping a list of anyone who would like to get in and contacting each week as I can find availability. Feel free to reach out to get out on the list, I miss all of my clients and working more than I realized and cannot wait to get fully running again.
And again, thank you sincerely to all of my fantastic clients for all of the love throughout this time, it’s been incredibly touching. Life is for living and I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful weather. Hope to see everyone soon!!

Hi everyone, I hope this finds you happy and healthy. Unfortunately we’ve had a medical emergency in our family and to be able to be available at home I’m going to be taking a hiatus at the studio until mid September. I’m sure you’re all aware I’ve been vigilant through this crazy last year with Covid precautions and it pains me to add any more time not working.
I am doing okay and we are making it through this difficult time. I will keep posting here if anything changes but am very much looking forward to hitting the ground running when I can open back up again. Feel free to reach out for any information or concerns, I’m a message away.

Hey Masaje Friends!
This is a little long, I wanted to clarify what my plan is going forward with the studio.

I appreciate all the love, support and holy cats the messages about me opening!! I’m just as eager to get back to the studio and see you all. That being said, let’s get to the WHEN!!

I respect everyone’s viewpoint on these matters - social distancing and precautions boil down to everyone is doing what they feel is best. I also want to be clear: I do not judge or criticize any fellow therapists for how they choose to carry on their business. It’s very important to me that we all regard each other’s values - We all have very different circumstances that lead our choices.

———-MY PLAN GOING FORWARD———-
For now I’m going to continue with my original thought - I will be aligned with the school district’s closures. That means continued closure until the end of the school year (June 5th). At that point I will reevaluate how the State “opening” has affected our community.

I will then have to determine if I can do a “full” open or if I will need to adjust hours - as of right now it looks like it may be evenings and weekends whenever that happens.

In the case I have to do a “soft” open, that will mean I will be taking a very limited number of clients every week. If you are amongst the eager to get in, please reach out and let me know to put on my “first contact” list. I will then be contacting everyone in the order they were originally on my schedule.

As far as wearing PPE, a more thorough sanitation and social distancing protocol - we will cross that bridge when we come to it. That’s a rabbit hole 😅.

I hope all of this finds you healthy and happy. I look forward to getting back to work and I miss each of you sincerely. Feel free to message or call just to say hi! I will be reaching out again in a few weeks - until then, take heart and take care! 🤗

Dear Masaje Patrons & Friends,

I wanted to reach out and touch base during this unknown time. I’m moved by all of the messages and support from my little massage family. It has been incredibly difficult not to see and help my friends during this specifically stressful time. I’m spending a lot of time with the family, learning some new techniques and focusing on what I can control right now.
There’s still a lot of grey area for how/if/when the studio will be able to safely resume practice - but I’m eager and ready to navigate that path when that time comes. I will absolutely be in touch the moment a plan is set in place.
I hope this finds all of you healthy and happy, maybe even finding positivity through the tension in our current reality.

Tom Petty had it right, The waiting is the hardest part.

Dear Masaje Patrons,

The time has come a lot sooner than I expected but as of today, I will be closing the doors to my studio. This decision was made with a heavy heart and a fair amount of fear for the future of my business I worked years cultivating.

I do want to make one thing clear;

My decision was not made out of fear of myself or family getting sick.
My decision was based on an ethical obligation I feel towards the health of my clientele, my friends. I can sanitize all I want. And I do. It will not change the fact that having a cross section of people coming in and being vulnerable in my space - with that I am becoming a facilitator and possibly exposing people who wouldn’t handle the virus as well as some.

Im letting my conscience be my guide. I will be open for business as soon as AASD opens the schools back up, pending at that time it is deemed safe to do so. I hope this finds all of you healthy and happy and you stay that way. We can be kind to each other, even in the shadows
