Thanks to a grant from the Wisconsin Technical College System, the Public Safety Training Center (PSTC) has upgraded our MILO system—delivering immersive, video-based scenarios for decision-making, de-escalation, and use-of-force training. This technology supports our Criminal Justice associate degree program, law enforcement academies, and partner agencies.

🌟 Inspired by family members, Jeff Westby decided to follow their lead in serving the public and is studying to become a police officer.

Corrections Academy 🚓

On Monday, PSTC welcomed the first Corrections Academy of 2026 with 16 recruits from 7 agencies, with one additional recruit joining in Phase 2.

Day 3 means hitting the DT room for POSC training, Principles of Subject Control.

In 2025, PSTC hosted 95 agency rentals with 30+ agencies training on site—bringing together 1,400+ local, state, and federal law enforcement officers.
